55X is the electronic music project of Brazilian DJ and producer Cla Pessoa, an artist whose sound blends the vibrant rhythms of Brazil with sophisticated electronic music, creating an experience that is both culturally rich and dancefloor-driven. Since beginning her journey in 2009, what started as a passion for mixing music quickly evolved into a successful international career shaped by authenticity, versatility, and a deep connection with the crowd.

 

Known for energetic sets and an eclectic musical identity, 55X has performed for audiences of over 30,000 people and shared the stage with globally recognized artists such as David Guetta, Kaskade, deadmau5, and most recently served as direct support for Claptone during his Portland appearance in October 2025.

 

Now based in Portland, 55X has become an active presence in the Pacific Northwest electronic music scene, performing at some of the city’s most recognized venues and events, including The WonderLove, The Realm, rooftop events at Departure Restaurant + Lounge, and Tabor Dance.

 

As both a DJ and emerging producer, 55X focuses on reimagining Brazilian musical influences through modern house and electronic production.
